Enrolling your child
You can register your interest to enrol your child with us by using the preschool registration of interest form. This form is also available from us.
Try to register your interest by 30 Jun, but you can do this any time during the year.
Priority will be given to children living in our catchment area. If you don’t live in our catchment area you should indicate at least 2 other preschool options on your form.
If we can give your child a place with us we’ll send you an offer letter in term 3. You can accept the offer by filling in and sending back the acceptance slip by the due date.

Monday & Tuesday: 8.30am – 3.15pm
Wednesday: 8.30am – 11.30am, Weeks 1,3,5,7,9
Green Group
Thursday & Friday: 8.30am – 3.15pm
Wednesday: 8.30am –11.30am, Weeks 2,4,6,8,10
Playgroup
Mawson Lakes Preschool offers a playgroup for children and their families in the year before beginning Preschool.
Our Playgroup is affiliated with Playgroup SA, but it is a closed playgroup. This means only those families who live in Mawson Lakes and have submitted an expression of interest form with the Preschool will be invited to attend the playgroup.
There are a limited number of places and these are offered on a first come first served basis. Families are sent an email towards the end of the year inviting them to register their interest in the playgroup for the following year. Those families offered a place are required to have a membership with Playgroup SA .
Our playgroup is run by the preschool educators and allows children and families to explore and become familiar with preschool.
The playgroup is held on Wednesday afternoons between 1.00 pm and 2.30 pm during school terms. Parents/caregivers are required to stay with their child for the entire session.
Child Care
While our preschool does not offer childcare services, there is a service just across the walkway. Mawson Lakes Community Early Learning offers child care for children 6 weeks to school age, from 6.45am – 6.15pm Monday to Friday. The child care centre and preschool staff work collaboratively to provide seamless care and education for children who access both services during the day. If your child is attending the Mawson Lakes Community Early Learning, childcare staff will provide a drop off and pick up service to preschool if needed. Places are limited and the enrolment process is separate to preschool. Contact Mawson Lakes Community Early Learning for more details and enrolment information.
